Here in the office it's all go, go, go, in the month of January! Phil left us all yesterday for his journey to Bahrain (alright for some!) and we are hoping he manages to bring back some lovely sunshine to get rid of this horrible drizzly rain! But the weather hasn't seemed to stop Eventus growing! As, here at base camp, the wheels are already in motion for the building of our new storage area! With doubling the amount of event equipment we have over the last few years, the need for extra storage space has reached its peak, and so the foundations are already being marked out. Don't worry, we will keep you posted on how this develops!
As well as this, several members of the Eventus team will be taking on a fantastic First Aid qualification over a residential weekend at the end of January. The UK Mountain First Aid Course promises to be a fantastic experience for all, as well as a beneficial asset for Eventus. Our very own Phil had a ball completing this qualification again just last year, and promises that we will be in for a treat!
The two-day residential course specialises in first aid training in conjunction with recreating realistic scenarios which we may come up against whilst participating in events or outdoor pursuits. The commitment and drive to obtaining qualifications like this one, proves that Eventus are willing to take every necessary step to ensure all our events are conducted with the upmost care and professionalism.
